Police station in-charge Sudhir Kumar Singh said that Inspector Ankush Chintaman of Cyber Crime Branch of Pune district of Maharashtra contacted police station Kasna. Pune Police informed that two men living in Greater Noida’s Omicron Society duped a woman of Rs 12.5 lakh in the name of getting them married abroad.
Singh said that the police station Kasna and Maharashtra Police jointly raided and arrested two Nigerians Okoi Wasil and Chinti Bere Navosu. During interrogation, it has come to know that both of them had cheated a Pune woman in the name of getting them married abroad.
Both the accused will be produced in a local court from where they will be taken to Maharashtra on transit remand, he said.
