Noida News: Reservation changed the situation on all 6 seats of Noida, know what are the latest equations

Manish Singh, Greater Noida: The Uttar Pradesh government has issued a notification for reservation for the municipal elections late in the evening. About which UP Urban Development Minister AK Sharma has given information in a press conference. The list of seats for 544 Nagar Panchayats of the state has been released. In which a total of 288 seats have been reserved for women. So the same 205 seats have been reserved for OBC, total 110 for SC and total 2 seats for ST. Along with this, objections can be lodged on this list till 6th April.

If we talk about Gautam Budh Nagar, then there are 6 seats of the municipal body in the district. Out of which one belongs to Municipality and 5 belongs to Nagar Panchayat. Reservation has also been announced for them. So on the other hand, Dadri Municipality has been kept in the category of unreserved. That is, on which the candidate of any caste can contest the election.

For the last 10 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party is maintaining its hold on Dadri Municipality. Female candidate Geeta Pandit is the president of Dadri Municipality for the last 10 years. Dadri Municipality was placed in the unreserved category in the municipal elections in the year 2012. After which this seat was reserved for women in the year 2017 elections. In which BJP candidate Geeta Pandit has maintained her hold by winning both the elections. So the same Dadri Municipality seat has been declared unreserved for the third time in a row.
