Noida News: Authority in preparation to speed up the work of Bhangel elevated road, new project engineer posted

Noida: Noida Authority is preparing to speed up the work of Bhangel elevated being constructed from Agahpur to NEPEZ Sector-82. Recently, the project engineer was removed by the Authority’s CEO for negligence. Now the new project engineer has been appointed. Along with this, Authority’s CEO Ritu Maheshwari has instructed the officers of the Engineering Department to speed up the work. The CEO has clearly issued instructions to the officers that safety standards should not be played with and the pace of work should not be affected.

According to the information, AK Varun has been made Project Engineer and in-charge of Work Circle-8. The work of this elevated road of 4.5 kilometers started on 8 June 2020. According to the deadline, the work should have been completed by December 7, 2022, but so far only about 65 percent work has been done. The cost of the project is estimated to be around Rs 468 crore. With the construction of this elevated road, the traffic jam from Agahpur to Bhangel, Salarpur and in front of Baraula will be removed.

Also, traffic going to Sector-82 Industrial Area will be straight. Residents of 7X sectors will also get great convenience. 4 loops are also to be made at Baraula T Point Sector-49-107. The authority will also get their tender done separately.
