District Agriculture Defense Officer Pradeep Kumar Yadav said that the administration has made certificate in pesticide management course mandatory for the sellers of fertilizers and pesticides. If a shopkeeper does not submit his certificate within the stipulated time, then his license will be revoked.
He informed that there are more than 150 shops of pesticides in the district. In villages and towns, any person opens a seed, fertilizer and pesticide shop and starts selling fertilizers and insecticides to farmers, while the shopkeepers do not have any degree. He said that now only the holders of insecticide certificate will be able to sell fertilizers and pesticides.
He told that the National Lok Adalat is being organized on December 11. Shopkeepers can get the matters related to their shops settled in this.
