In Noida, adjacent to the country’s capital Delhi, the farmers’ agitation continued at the authority office on Wednesday to get their demands fulfilled. Farmers who arrived in large numbers in the morning blocked the way by sitting in front of all the gates of the Authority Sector-6 office. Around 9:30 in the morning, the president of the Noida Employees Association arrived with the number of employees and started the entry of the employees by opening the gate on the left side of the administrative building. The police force had to come in the middle to stop the confrontation. During this, the farmers raised slogans against the NEA officials.

Along with the agitation, tension also persisted between the authority employees and the farmers. Due to the closure of the authority, no work could be done for the general public even on Wednesday. On Wednesday, many leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party from Noida and Delhi also reached the protest site of the farmers. These leaders accused the Yogi government of not fulfilling the demands of the farmers. The president of the Bharatiya Kisan Parishad, Sukhbir Khalifa, who is leading the movement, took aim at Noida Authority officials as well as employee leaders.
Plan to surround the residence of Noida MLA Pankaj Singh
The farmers planned to surround the residence of Noida MLA Pankaj Singh on Thursday. President of the Kisan Parishad Sukhbir Khalifa said that the farmers would first go to the residence of the MLA. The future strategy will be decided on the spot. Noida Employees Association President Kushalpal Choudhary said that due to the closure of work in the authority office, the salary file of these employees was not increasing. This work has been started. He told that after meeting, the association has prepared a strategy for Thursday as well.
