Employ women, will get special discount… Yamuna Authority’s big offer for investors

Noida: The pace of development has increased in the Yamuna Authority area. The authority is trying that women should get a chance to become self-reliant in the big industries to be established here. For this, under the new industrial policy, women will be given priority in all the industrial units that will be set up here. Provision has been made in the policy for this. Now, while setting up a new industrial unit, if the investors state the bylaws of keeping up to 75 percent women employees, then they will be given special financial concessions.

The investor will be able to get financial help in setting up the industry and more and more women will be able to get employment. Tell that recently the proposal of new industrial policy has been passed from the government level. The Yamuna Authority was eagerly waiting for the proposal of this new policy to be passed, as large scale industries are about to be established here. After making the policy, the Authority is also coming up with the scheme of Industrial Plot soon.

Under the new policy, four different categories of investors have been created. In the first of these, investors up to 200 crores will come. 200-500 crores in the second, investors from 500 to 3000 crores will come in the third and the fourth will be ultra meritorious category, in which investors of more than 3 thousand crores will come. There will be separate hubs for these and the scheme of the plot will also be prepared accordingly.

50 percent discount on stamp duty
On setting up an industry in Gautam Buddha Nagar, the investor will get a rebate of up to 50 percent in stamp duty. This exemption is different in other districts of the state. Apart from this, a provision of 15 to 22 percent rebate on capital has been kept in different categories under capital investment incentive. Also, whatever exemptions have been made by the State Government and the Government of India, they will all be given. A provision has been made in the policy that if a new industry makes a provision to have 75 percent women employees in the total employees during its establishment, then that investor will get a rebate of ECI (Eligible Capital Investment) of two percent. It will depend on how big the plot is being taken by the investor to set up the industry and what is its rate.

Yamuna Authority CEO Arunveer Singh said that under the new industrial policy, special focus has been laid on making women self-reliant. Industries will now be set up on a large scale in the Yamuna Authority. We will try our best to encourage investors to have 75 percent women employees in maximum industries. For that whatever maximum financial benefit can be given to them will be given.
