MP Cold Wave Update: Cold wave will continue in MP from today onwards

Cold will increase in some parts of West and East Madhya Pradesh (MP) during the next three days. It can be cold at some places. According to forecast by meteorologist Shailendra Nayak, there is a possibility of a gradual drop in the minimum temperature () by 3-5 degrees Celsius in most parts of Madhya Pradesh in the next five days. The night will be cooler with the drop in minimum temperature. In fact, the Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation with a trough running north of 32°N latitude with 75°E longitude in the middle and upper troposphere level lies in the lower troposphere levels over Punjab and adjoining areas. A cyclonic circulation is persisting over Jharkhand and adjoining areas at lower troposphere levels. A trough is extending from the cyclonic circulation over Punjab to a cyclonic circulation over Jharkhand at lower troposphere levels. Due to this, there is a possibility of cold day in western and eastern MP for the next three days. On Monday, the capital Bhopal has been in the grip of cold wave throughout the day. The hide and seek continues between the sun and the clouds. Snowy winds have hit the capital Bhopal at a speed of 20 kmph. The maximum temperature recorded in Bhopal is 19.1 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded is 9.9 degree Celsius. According to meteorologists, this time the cold season is dragging on. The cold had started in the state from October 15. According to meteorologists, there were many cold days in Bhopal this time. Bhopal recorded the lowest temperature this season at 3.4 degree Celsius in December. At the same time, still the situation in MP is such that the minimum temperature in more than 24 places is below 10 degree Celsius. There may be a change in the weather of the state after January 28.
