Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan arrived at the ‘Son Chiriya Aajeevika Utsav’ at Mahila Hawkers Corner, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal on Friday evening. In Aajeevika Utsav, he saw the products made by the women of self-help groups. During this, wife Sadhana Singh was also with him. CM also bought these products there. Along with this he also appealed to the people to buy indigenous products this Diwali.
CM visited different stalls in Aajeevika Utsav and inquired about the products. His wife Sadhna Singh also appeared to be very interested in these products. Both also bought many products for Diwali. Participating in the festival, Shivraj emphasized on Vocal for Local and appealed to the people to buy these products.
On this occasion, the CM said that the family Sonchiriya Aajeevika Utsav I got a chance to see the products made by the sisters of the Self Help Group. He has made many exquisite and beautiful products out of mud and cow dung. On Diwali festival, we use only materials made by local artists. we resolve thatWe will buy only local products on Diwali, so that our brothers and sisters can also celebrate the festival of Diwali well.

Earlier on Friday, the CM had advocated buying indigenous products in Chhatarpur. They reached Noneram Prajapati’s house in Dhamna village and saw the products made by Prajapati Samaj. He also met women from Self Help Groups and had food at Nooneram’s house. There also he emphasized on Vocal for Local.
