Bhopal News: Minor youths vandalize luxury vehicles, police, TI and sub-inspector suspended in action after 48 hours

Bhopal: The video of breaking glass of expensive vehicles in Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal has been viral since Sunday, but it took more than 48 hours for the police to take action. The minor youths who vandalized the vehicles themselves also made its video viral. Two days later, a TI and a sub-inspector were suspended. After arresting the youths, the police is now preparing to register a case against their parents as well.

In the video that surfaced on Sunday, youths are seen breaking the glasses of expensive four wheelers parked on the roads. They broke the windshield and window panes by pelting stones. During this, one of his companions was making a video. By sharing this video, he wanted to establish his power among friends. All the youths arrested are in the age group of 14 to 17 years. All the expensive schools of Bhopal have students of class IX and X.

Police tried to suppress the matter
The youths carried out this act in Kohefiza and Shyamala Hills police station areas of the city. Shyamala Hills station in-charge LD Mishra and Kohefiza sub-inspector Vinod Pandey tried to suppress it instead of taking action in the matter. He did not impose sections to cover up the matter and did not even inform the senior officials. When the victims reached the police stations with their complaints, the police came into action. After this TI Mishra and SI Pandey were suspended.

Bhopal Deputy Commissioner of Police Riyaz Iqbal said that the youths had vandalized at least eight expensive and luxury cars and a bus on Sunday morning. Iqbal said that Shyamala Hills SHO LD Mishra and Kohefiza sub-inspector Vinod Pandey did not take action after the video surfaced. They have been suspended for not taking action against the accused and not informing the senior officers about the incident. A case has also been registered in connection with these incidents.

The accused were laughing after the sabotage
In the video that went viral, these youths are seen roaming on two motorcycles. One of them asks his friend to turn on the mobile phone camera and record it before breaking the windshield of a car. All four of them are seen laughing after breaking the glass of the car.
