Mumbai:From Monday, schools from Mumbai to class 1st to 12th including Maharashtra have been opened. However, the decision of sending children to school is up to their parents. If they want to send their children to school, then send it or else the option of online class is also available. Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that it is necessary to have a distance of at least two feet between children in schools. However, considering the number of children, this decision will be taken by the school management at its discretion. In Mumbai, 50 percent of the students from class 1 to class 12 reached school on the first day. The enthusiasm was visible among the students on the first day. Please tell that only after the third wave of Corona knocked, the schools were closed within a few days. Schools started again from Monday as soon as the third wave came under control. According to a senior official of the Education Department, there are 16 lakh, 35 thousand, 370 students in Mumbai from class I to class XII. Of these, 7 lakh, 20 thousand, 92 students appeared on the first day. Out of 1774 schools attached to the office of the Deputy Director of Education, 1731 schools started on the first day. Where will schools open?
The Maharashtra government may have given permission to open the schools but it has also imposed some conditions with it. The government has allowed schools to be opened in only those districts or areas where corona cases are below average. Apart from this, the decision to open schools will be entirely of the local administration i.e. Metropolitan Municipality, Municipality, Zilla Parishad. In these places, the administrative officers will decide which places to open schools in their area. Due to lack of reduction in the number of corona patients in Pune and Aurangabad districts, schools will not be opened here.

What are the rules?
Along with the opening of the school, the Maharashtra government has also appealed to the authorities that children should not be called forcibly in the school. The consent of the parents must be obtained before sending the children to school. If parents want to send their children to school voluntarily, only then they should be allowed to come to school. Apart from this, it is mandatory for teachers and other school staff to have both doses of corona vaccine. Along with this, the education officers should also make arrangements for the vaccination of children between the age group of 15 to 18 years in the school with the administrative officers. Not only this, it will be mandatory for the school authorities to take all necessary and precautionary steps before opening the school. The report of which will be required to be given to the senior officers.
