Voter ID Adhar card Link : Aadhaar linking campaign at 4 thousand on Sunday at election center

Nagpur : On Sunday, September 11, a campaign will be conducted for Aadhaar connection campaign along with election card in 400 election centers of Nagpur district. Apart from this, the staff will be present at every center on Sunday for registration of new voters, deletion of names. Collector Dr. appealed to citizens to take advantage of this facility. As a responsible citizen in a democratic system, it is necessary to link your Aadhaar card with the election card. Apart from this, a special campaign is being conducted to check your name in the electoral roll, as well as adding new names and deleting them. It has been appealed to take advantage of this campaign at every polling station in Nagpur metropolis as well as at polling stations in every village school.

Put a ‘loudspeaker’ in the village

Publicity in this regard should be done by Gram Panchayat in Municipal area and Taluka location in the district as well as in the village. Also, the district collector has also appealed that the villagers should be informed about this in the villages with loudspeakers and Dawandi should be given. On the recommendation of the Election Commission of India, the Union Government, Ministry of Law and Justice has announced a program under the Election Laws (Amendment) Act, 2021 on voluntary collection of Aadhaar information from voters for verification and linking with electoral roll details.

4 and a half lakh voters did ‘linking’

Linking of Aadhaar number with voter ID was started from August. A total of 4,33,368 voters have linked Aadhaar number with their voter ID card till September 6 under 12 assembly constituencies in Nagpur district. According to the order of the Election Commission of India, a special campaign will be conducted on Sunday regarding Aadhaar Linking Program with Voter ID Card. Under the said campaign, sample 6 B, sample no. 6, 7, 8 with Polling Center Level Officer (BLO) will be present.

Listed names can be ‘linked’

If a voter whose name is in the voter list wants to link his Aadhaar, the said voter should fill Form 6B and eligible voters whose name is not in the voter list should fill Form no. 6, those who want to omit form 7 and those who have correction in name or change of address should submit form 8 along with necessary documents at the nearest polling booth or fill online form 6 b, forms 6, 7 and 8 at , voterportal, voter helpline app should be used. If voters do not have Aadhaar number, application no. One of the 11 alternative documents shown in 6B can be submitted viz. PAN Card, Kisan Passbook with Photo, Passport, EPIC Card, MGNREGA Job Card, Health Smart Card, Driving License, Pension Documents with Photo, Identity Card of Central/State Government Employees, Social Justice Department Identity Card Sample No. Can be given with 6b.
