Vedanta Foxconn : Fadnavis thanks Vedanta for ‘this’; Opponents were also targeted

Devendra Fadnavis On Vedanta Foxconn : Vedanta-Foxconn semiconductor project moving out of Maharashtra, the political atmosphere in the state has heated up with accusations. Deputy Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis has left silence in this matter. Anil Agarwal is thanked. So, Fadnavis has targeted the opponents who criticize the government. Fadnavis said baseless claims are being made for political gain. 

Devendra Fadnavis tweeted that he thanks Anil Agarwal for deciding to choose Maharashtra for the Vedanta-Foxconn affiliate project. In a tweet, Fadnavis also said that we will always remain competitive and business friendly to attract investment in Maharashtra. Criticizing the opposition, he said that very wrong, negative and baseless claims are being made only for political selfishness. But by doing so they are only demonstrating their inefficiency. Who opposed the investment of 3.5 lakh crore rupees in Maharashtra through refinery, who delayed this project? He also asked this question. Devendra Fadnavis also advised to focus on self-efficacy first.

What did Vedanta’s Anil Agarwal say?

Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal explains. Agarwal has said that a decision has already been taken to take this project to Gujarat. He said that Maharashtra government had tried hard in July. 

Anil Agarwal has made it clear by tweeting that he had been trying to sign an agreement with the government of different states for two years. Also they start trying to find out which state they get the best deal from. He got the best deal from Gujarat. He informed that he was in talks with the Gujarat government in July and that time his agreement was finalized. Maharashtra is an important state and he expressed his desire to bring projects related to this project in the state in the future.
