Shinde and Thackeray controversy hit gymnasium started by Dharamveer Anand Dighe, Thane Municipal Corporation locked down

Thane: Now a picture is emerging that the common Shiv Sainik is getting bogged down in the dispute between Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray. The gymnasium started by Dharamveer Anand Dighe has been sealed by the municipality. But the Shiv Sainiks who are running this exercise school claim that their organization is being targeted by the Municipal Corporation only because they are Shiv Sainiks.

Taking inspiration from Dharmaveer Anand Dighe, a gymnasium was started in Savarkarnagar 25 years ago in a space of one thousand four feet. At present, Shiv Abhiman Vyamya Mandir Sanstha manages it for a nominal fee. The gymnasium was closed for almost two years during Corona. Thane Municipal Corporation has sent a notice to the management to pay the rent of about 67 thousand rupees after the gymnasium school starts. The management paid Rs 15 thousand and got fifteen days to pay the remaining amount. However, suddenly on Friday, the encroachment department of the municipality sealed the gymnasium. Therefore, the president of the organization Raju Shirodkar has alleged that this action was taken to put pressure on the municipal authorities because he is a Thackeray supporter.
