Sheetal Mhatre: Shiv Sena Shinde group leader Sheetal Mhatre has lodged a police complaint alleging that one of her videos was morphed and went viral. Late Sunday night, Sheetal Mhatre lodged a complaint at the Dahisar police station. He directly accused that his fake video was made viral by Thackeray group office bearers and Yuva Sena workers.
Shiv Sena Shinde faction leader Sheetal Mhatre & son of Shinde faction MLA Prakash Surve Raj Surve reached Dahisar police station at midnight along with activists. . A video of Shital Mhatre and Prakash Surve morphing and writing lewd messages went viral. Sheetal Mhatre has alleged that several officials of the Thackeray group, including a page named Matoshree on Facebook, uploaded the video and made it viral. After that expressing anger over this, Sheetal Mhatre and Surve supporters approached Dahisar police station and lodged a complaint. A case of molestation and other crimes have been filed against those who made this video viral and police is taking further action.
Reacting to this, Sheetal Mhatre said, "Today I am also someone’s mother, someone’s sister. There are also women in the houses of the opposition. At such a low level, posting fake videos and obscene messages is very bad. It shows that opponents can stoop to such a low level with respect to a woman. This video has been made viral by Yuva Sena workers. So the police should take appropriate action against them."
Sheetal Mhatre has also expressed her opinion on social media. she said, "If there is nothing to say about a woman in politics, is it the morals of a ruined group to defame her? Did you not remember Balasaheb’s Sanskar when a morphed video about a woman went viral from a Facebook page called Matoshree?"
