Mumbai: Shiv Sena leader Shinde group
A video of Shiv Sena Shinde faction leader Sheetal Mhatre and MLA Prakash Surve is going viral on social media. Sheetal Mhatre has alleged that this video is a morph. Sheetal Mhatre has alleged that this fake video has been created to defame him and that Thackeray group office bearers and Yuva Sena office bearers are behind it. Sheetal Mhatre had complained about this to the Dahisar police early on Sunday morning. After that the two people who forwarded this video and went viral have been detained by the Dahisar police. It is reported that the police will arrest him after completing the process. Dahisar police are investigating who made this video and who made it viral. After the video went viral on Saturday night, a case was registered under sections of Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act at Dahisar police station late at night. Reacting to this, Sheetal Mhatre said, "Today I am also someone’s mother, someone’s sister. There are also women in the houses of the opposition. At such a low level, posting fake videos and obscene messages is very bad. It shows that opponents can stoop to such a low level with respect to a woman. This video has been made viral by Yuva Sena workers. So the police should take appropriate action against them." Sheetal Mhatre has alleged that many office bearers of the Thackeray group including a page called Matoshree on Facebook uploaded the video and made it viral. After that expressing anger over this, Sheetal Mhatre and Surve supporters approached Dahisar police station and lodged a complaint. A case of molestation and other crimes has been registered against those who made this video viral and the police is taking further action.
