Sachin Vaze used to call Anil Deshmukh ‘No. 1’ and Parambir Singh as Raja, CBI informs Mumbai Sessions Court

Mumbai : Suspended police officer  Sachin Vaze called former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh ‘Number 1’ while former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh called him ‘Raja’. CBI has informed the Bombay Sessions Court that it should be mentioned. The CBI has disclosed this in its reply to the bail application filed by Anil Deshmukh’s personal assistant Sanjeev Palande. Two personal assistants of Deshmukh namely Sanjeev Palande and Kundan Shinde have also been arrested. Sachin Vaze has become a witness in this case. Palande and Shinde were interrogated by the CBI on February 16 and 17 at Arthur Road Jail. After that he was shown under arrest.

Sanjeev Palande has filed an application for bail in the special CBI court of the Bombay Sessions Court. A reply was filed by the CBI on Wednesday. According to the information given by Sachin Vaze in the reply filed by the CBI, he used to refer to Anil Deshmukh as ‘No 1’ and Parambir as ‘Raja’. Also, the CBI has said in its reply that Sachin Vaze was collecting money from the bar owner in Mumbai under the name of ‘No. 1’.  

The written reply filed by the CBI said that Waze used to call Anil Dehmukh ‘No 1’ and Parambir Singh ‘Raja’. CBI has done many secret blasts in it. The CBI said in its affidavit that Waze was extorting money from bar owners in Mumbai under the guise of ‘No 1’. Parambir Singh had sent a letter to former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray accusing Deshmukh of corruption. Parambir Singh alleged that Anil Deshmukh was extorting Rs 10 crore from Mumbai through Sachin Vaze.
