Purandar Crime : An accomplice with a Congress worker in Purandar taluka (Pune News) has been arrested by the Pune ACB Trap Department. The anti corruption bureau department took this action on Friday night. Complainant filed an application at Saswad Police Station on the grounds of blackmail by some RTI activists. The complainant was told that the police inspector asked for a bribe of 3 lakh rupees to register a case (Pune Crime News) based on that application. Akshay Subhash Marne along with Ganesh Jagtap, a former corporator of Saswad Nagar Parishad in Purandar taluka, demanded a bribe of three lakh rupees from a person to give a bribe of Rs. After this the complainant contacted the Anti-Bribery Department. After this, the Anti-Corruption Department has laid a trap and taken action in this regard. Names of those arrested are Akshay Subhash Marne, Ganesh Babanrao Jagtap. It has been reported that one of the arrested is a close relative of MLA Sanjay Jagtap. Ganesh Babanrao Jagtap is said to be the cousin of MLA Sanjay Jagtap. It is also said that he is also the state general secretary of the Youth Congress.
