According to information received, Shashank Deshmane, driver of PMPL bus from Swargate Depot, met with a minor accident at Abhinav College Chowk at Abhinav College Chowk while working on Marg No. 2 this afternoon. In that accident, there was an argument between the female driver and the driver. Out of that argument, the woman along with 3 other accomplices severely beat the driver Deshmane. Deshmane has claimed that the woman in the four-wheeler that met with the accident and the person in the same car are former BJP corporators. The injured driver has been admitted to Sassoon Hospital.
