Life was disrupted due to flooding of roads and low-lying areas in the suburbs as well as central areas, while trees and walls collapsed at many places. 77 mm of rain was recorded in three hours from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. Even after that, it was raining till 11:30 in the night. At this time, 86.6 rainfall was recorded. Meanwhile, due to heavy rains in the city area, the water level of Gangapur dam has increased and the level of Godavari has increased due to the release of 1000 cusecs from Gangapur dam. It was seen that Maruti had water in his mouth up to his waist till late night.

On the eve of the immersion, it was seen that heavy rains had dampened the enthusiasm of the devotees along with the Ganesha mandals. In the evening, due to rain in the clouds along with lightning, the citizens made their way through knee-deep water on the main road and elsewhere. It started raining at six o’clock in the evening and continued till half past eleven in the night. Due to this, traffic jams were seen at important places in the city, such as flyovers, roads etc  It was seen that there was a traffic jam due to the accumulation of water at the places. Due to this, it was seen that there was a queue of vehicles of about two kilometers. Due to the queue of vehicles in the Dwarka to Nashik road area, the traffic system was disrupted. In the areas of Satpur Colony, Saraf Bazar, Phul Bazar, the water from the drainage came down from the road and pooled on the road. >
On the one hand, since tomorrow is Anant Chaturdashi, devotees were eager to see the sights of Nashik city today. But after the rains in the evening, the devotees along with the Ganesha circle had a great escape. In the evening, the work of opening the scenes of the public mandal begins. But it started raining heavily this evening around 6 pm. Due to the heavy rains, the Ganesh mandals along with the citizens were crowded. As this was the last day of the spectacles, many had planned to watch the spectacles on Thursday. On the last day, there was a huge crowd to witness the spectacle, but the rain dampened the excitement as the Ganesh devotees were forced to stay indoors. As it was not possible to get out, citizens preferred to watch the India-Afghanistan match. However, as electricity is being hidden in many places, this has become a hero mode of the citizens.
