Also, measures should be taken keeping in mind the problems in the work of irrigation wells pending under the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme. Plans should be made to ensure that no student is deprived of the subsidy given to the Scheduled Caste and Tribe students through the Department of Social Welfare. Also, this scheme should be implemented effectively through the social welfare department for the students of the talukas which are not included under the Human Development Mission. Similarly, regular health check-up of the students should be done and all the necessary facilities should be provided from the point of view of their health. Also, on the occasion of December 3rd International Day of Disability, plans should be made to provide prosthetic limbs to disabled students as per their needs.
