The 15-day-long 5th MP Sports Festival concluded with a live concert by well-known playback singer Ankit Tiwari. Ankit, who is the favorite singer of youth, won the hearts of Nagpurians by performing many popular Hindi songs on this occasion. The program was attended by thousands of Nagpur fans, especially the youth, who gave spontaneous appreciation to each and every song of Ankit.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on the dais (Nitin Gadkari), Deputy Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis (Devendra Fadnavis), MP Dr. Vikas Mahatme, MLA Praveen Datke, former MLA Sudhakar Kohle, Vikas Kumbhare, ex-mayor Sandeep Joshi, Sudhir Dive etc. were the organizers of the festival. Gadkari congratulated the Nagpurkar players for participating in the festival in large numbers. Fadnavis, responding soon after Union Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed expectations from the state government in his speech, announced that the clearance process for the redevelopment of Yashwant Stadium would be completed within a month. Apart from this, it was also announced that the state government would give 100 crores to develop 300 grounds in the city. He also promised to provide modern facilities in the Divisional Sports Complex at Mankapur.
