Milk FRP: FRP policy should be applied to milk, Farmers Struggle Committee demands, new government should give justice to milk producers

Milk FRP : For the past several days Dudhala A memorandum has been submitted to the Minister of Dairy Development along with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis demanding implementation of FRP and revenue sharing policy. The Farmers’ Struggle Committee has expressed the opinion that the development of milk business in the state has been limited due to the instability in the purchase prices of milk. As 76 percent of the available milk is collected by private milk  companies, the monopoly of private milk companies has been created in this sector. Private  companies colluding  repeatedly lowering procurement rates. Kisan Sabha leader Dr. is of the opinion that milk producers in the state are coming to Metakuti due to this. Ajit Navale has expressed. Due to uncertainty  and instability large investment in milk sector is not possible. Dairy development in the state is also limited. If the uncertainty and volatility in the milk business is reduced to some extent, the dairy business in the state will develop to a large extent. The stand of Sangharsh Samiti is that the milk producers of the state will also get relief.  

The responsibility of the new government to give justice to the milk producers 

During the Mahavikas Aghadi government, the milk producers in the state to reduce the uncertainty and instability in the milk business, milk was given FRP. It was demanded to get legal protection. He also fought for a long time for the demand that revenue sharing policy should be applied to the dairy sector like sugarcane. The then Maha Vikas Aghadi government had appointed a committee under the chairmanship of then Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to implement FRP for milk in this background. However, there was a change of power in the state in the meantime. As a result this committee could not work. Now it is the responsibility of the new government to give justice to the milk producers. It has been demanded that the Shinde-Fadnavis government in the state should take this initiative and protect the milk producers through FRP and revenue sharing.
