When the subject of information technology was new to our country, Anand Deshpande made a career in this field and got a job in a reputed company like HP in America. While everything was going smoothly there, in the 90s when there was an unstable environment in the country and the world, he took a very bold decision to come home and start his own company. He started Persists with only 21 thousand dollars, which is seventeen-eighteen lakhs today. In the last three decades, Persistent has taken the investment of 21 thousand dollars to 140 crore dollars on the strength of hard work, integrity and consistency. That is, 10 lakhs then has become eleven and a half thousand crores today.
