Outbreaks of LMP have been observed in animals. Out of these infected animals, 3 thousand 291 animals have recovered and the rest of the animals are undergoing treatment, said Commissioner Singh. have been given. 5 km of the affected area out of this vaccine quantity. Commissioner Singh said that 16.45 lakh animals in 1 thousand 108 villages in the periphery have been vaccinated. Vaccination campaign is going on at present. Vaccination will be done preferably in cow sheds and large herds or places with large numbers of livestock. Meanwhile, today (September 20) 25 lakh doses will be received. Of the affected districts Jalgaon 94, Ahmednagar 30, Dhule 9, Akola 46, Pune 22, Latur 3, Aurangabad 5, Satara 12, Buldana 13, Amravati 17, Kolhapur 9, Sangli 2, Washim 1, Jalna 1, Thane 3, Nagpur 3 and Raigad 1. Restriction on bringing animals to Mumbai too

In many places in the country including the state, precautions are being taken in Mumbai as well. Bullock carts, horse carts and cows are also kept in many places in Mumbai. Keeping this in mind, the Mumbai Police has issued guidelines to prevent the spread of LMP in Mumbai. Transportation of animals to exhibitions, fairs and crowded places is prohibited. Legal action will be taken if the instructions are violated, the police said.
