Long March: The delegation of Kisan Sabha will meet with the Chief Minister today, will there be a solution?

Discussion Positive : Jeeva Pandu Gavit 

The Minister held a discussion with the Kisan Sabha delegation for almost two hours. After the meeting, CPM leader and former MLA Jiva Pandu Gavit informed the media that the discussion was positive. The Minister has invited a meeting at 3 pm today. This meeting will be held in the Ministry. The Kisan Sabha has expressed an expectation that the ministers concerned with the demands should also be present during the discussion. Almost 40 percent of the answers have been received in today’s discussion. So, the rest of the issue is expected to be decided in a meeting with the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. Gavit informed that Kisan Sabha’s long march will continue while discussions are going on with the government.

March started for four days

Thousands of farmers led by Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sabha and Marxist Communist Party have taken out a long march from Nashik for the last four days for their various demands. In Nashik, Minister Dada Bhuse had a discussion with the Kisan Sabha delegation when the long march started. However, as there was no concrete decision regarding the demands at that time, the Long March marched towards Mumbai. A meeting was to be held with the Chief Minister on Tuesday. However, this meeting was cancelled. After that, this march has entered Thane district yesterday. A long march has entered Kalamb village in Shahapur.
