Relief in the new tax scheme is over: Patole
Congress state president Nana Patole said, ‘The Finance Minister did not open his mouth on burning issues like inflation, unemployment, farmers, MNREGA, increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, LPG gas, minimum support price of agricultural produce. The general public of the country has got only disappointment from this budget. He said, ‘The exemption given in income tax is a step taken under the pressure of the old pension scheme implemented in Congress-ruled states. But this too is an illusion. According to the new income tax scheme of the government, those whose income is Rs 10 lakh will have to pay income tax of Rs 78 thousand. In the old scheme it was Rs 65 thousand. Instead of getting relief here, the burden of income tax of Rs 13,000 will fall on the middle class. In the new tax scheme, there will be no relief under income tax benefit, section 80C, 80D, 24B on home loan. Patole said that instead of luring women with higher interest rate on savings, the government should have announced some measures to reduce the cost of LPG cylinders and inflation.
Ashok Chavan counted the flaws
Ashok Chavan also pointed out the flaws in the budget. He said that by cutting the budgetary allocation of MNREGA by 21.66 per cent in the budget, the Modi government has put scissors on employment in rural areas. Raising the question, Ashok Chavan said that what happened to the announcement of doubling the income of farmers in 2022? There was no concession in the rate of interest on crop loans. Along with this, he also raised questions regarding the announcement of the minimum support price.

All such people are getting great help from this budget. Enumerating the benefits, he said that tax exemption on income up to Rs 7 lakh would help the lower middle class. The income tax limit of Rs 1.5 lakh on income up to Rs 15 lakh will provide a big relief to the middle class.
