Criticism of the opposition on the budget

Opponents have said that this budget is an election gimmick. The opponents have said that the basic problems have been sidestepped in this budget. That is why the opposition is likely to be aggressive again in the House today. Today budget, the issues that have been pending since the last week will also be discussed. At present, onion farmers in the state are in trouble. There has been a big fall in onion prices. Farmers of the state are being hit hard by this. Farmers are protesting along with farmer organizations at various places. Onion is being sold at Rs 500 to Rs 600 per quintal. That’s why the opponents have demanded subsidy for onion. However, the government has not taken any decision in this regard yet. Also, unseasonal rains have hit the crops of farmers in various districts of the state. The crops that have been harvested have been wasted due to unseasonal rains and hailstorms. The opposition has also demanded that the government should announce immediate aid to these loss-affected farmers. The government has yet to take a decision on that. Therefore, the opposition is likely to be aggressive in the House on both these points.
Chief Minister’s Assurance
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of the state Eknath Shinde has promised to provide relief to onion farmers. . He also said that the government will not leave the farmers who have suffered losses due to unseasonal rains. Panchnama of the damaged area is currently underway.
