AC Bus : Good news!  Garegar travel now cheap, Mumbai to Thane AC bus fare only Rs 65

Mumbai Thane AC Bus Fare : There is a good news for those traveling between Mumbai and Thane. Now AC Bus (AC Bus) Travel to Gareghar has become even cheaper. Thane Municipal Transport (TMT – Thane Municipal Transport) board has reduced the AC bus ticket price. TMT (Thane Municipal Transport) has announced to reduce bus ticket fare by around 40 to 50 percent. So Mumbai to Thane AC bus fare will be only Rs 65.

Step behind the competition with BEST and NMMT

New fares will be implemented on both the newly introduced Electric AC Bus and Volvo services after the approval of the Regional Transport Authority. This step has been taken in the wake of increasing competition between BEST and Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) bus services. Passengers on TMT bus routes are seen shifting to the cheaper alternatives of BEST and NMMT. As a result, TMT has taken this decision to provide a quiet, comfortable and affordable journey to passengers who turn to cheaper options.

About 40 to 50 percent reduction in bus ticket price

As per the revised fares, the minimum fare for TMT AC buses will now be Rs 10 instead of Rs 20 for the first two kilometers i.e. a reduction of 50 per cent. So the maximum fare has been reduced from Rs 105 to Rs 65 and this has been reduced by 40 percent.

Mumbai to Thane travel will be more comfortable

The new fares introduced by TMT will make the journey from Mumbai to Thane more comfortable for passengers. Passengers will have to pay only Rs 65 instead of Rs 105 for Mumbai to Thane AC bus fare. This will give relief to citizens’ pockets. Moreover, now that summer is approaching, passengers can escape from the heat of the summer and travel cheaply in the fresh air of AC buses.

How much is the new TMT AC bus fare between Mumbai to Thane?

  • As per the revised fares, the minimum fare for TMT AC buses will now be Rs 10 instead of Rs 20 for the first two kilometers
  • The maximum fare has been increased from Rs 105 to Rs 65.

Meanwhile, the fare revision rates will be submitted to the Regional Transport Authority (RTI) soon. Thereafter these rates will be applicable.
