1946- Vinod Khanna was born 

Born of Vinod Khanna who left his mark on Indian cinema. On 6 October 1946, Peshawar took place at this place. After he entered politics, he was elected to the Lok Sabha from Gurdaspur. He has also served as the Minister of State for Defense of the country. 

1949- Foundation of NDA Institute at Khadakwasla 

The foundation of National Defense Academy i.e. NDA Institute was laid on this day i.e. 6th October 1949. NDA is an organization that prepares and trains officers in all three branches of the Indian Army. This organization was established from the idea of ​​Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The foundation of this institution was also inaugurated by him.

1954- National Health Scheme started in the country

First Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru announced the implementation of National Health Scheme in the country on October 6, 1954. Kelly. 

1974- VK Menon passed away 

Great freedom fighter and political leader V. K. Menon died on 6 October 1974. He served as the Defense Minister of India from 1957 to 1962. He had to resign from his post after India was defeated in the war with China in 1962. 

1981- Assassination of Egyptian President Mohammed Anwar Sadat

Mohammed Anwar, President of Egypt and leader of the separatist movement. Mohammad Anwar Sadat was shot dead on October 6, 1981.  Mohammed Anwar Sadat was sworn in as the President of Egypt in 1970. It is said that Sadat signed his own death warrant. 

Egypt was the first Arab country to end its conflict with Israel and sign a peace treaty with it. Mohammad Anwar Sadat signed this agreement. Because of his action, displeasure spread in the Arab countries, while the world expressed surprise. The fundamentalists did not agree with this decision. This is what got him killed. 

Mohammed Anwar Sadat took a separatist stand along with Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize after the peace agreement with Israel.
