Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express train of Madhya Pradesh. He started it in the presence of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Addressing the program organized on this occasion, he told how Vande Bharat Express played an important role in the development of MP. Targeting the opposition, he said that some people talk about digging his grave, but all his attention is on the development of the country.

The Prime Minister said that Vande Bharat Express will prove to be most beneficial for tourism. With the running of the train, it will be easier to reach tourist places like Sanchi, Bhimbetka, Bhojpur and Udayagiri Caves. This will lead to development of tourism. When tourists will increase, the means of earning for the people will increase. This will lead to rapid development of this sector.

The PM also took a jibe at the Congress in his speech. He said that during the Congress regime, the government used to try to prove only one family the best. The Congress was so busy in appeasement that it did not care about the sufferings of the common people. On the contrary, his government focused on the satisfaction of the people and insisted on making Indian Railways the best railway service in the world.

The Prime Minister appealed to the people that instead of paying attention to these things, they should think about better development of the country and the state.

In his address, Prime Minister Modi first expressed his grief over the temple accident in Indore. He paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the accident and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Prime Minister said that Madhya Pradesh has received the first Vande Bharat Express train today. With this, commuting to Delhi will be easier for the common people, job professionals and businessmen.
