Lokayukta caught traffic incharge and constable taking bribe, taking 10500 rupees to drop pickup

According to the information, on Tuesday night, the Rewa Lokayukta team caught traffic subedar Dilip Tiwari and driver constable Amit Singh Baghel red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,500 near Martand school in front of the city’s civil line police station. At present the action is going on.

In fact, Rewa resident Naval Kishore Rajak had lodged a complaint with the Rewa Lokayukta office that on March 24, 2023, the Bolero was going straight to Majhauli by loading a cooler in the pickup, when the vehicle was caught near Tirahe in the name of checking. In lieu of leaving the car, a demand of Rs 15,000 was made. During the conversation, a deal was fixed to leave the vehicle for Rs 10,500.
