After the election result, Congress candidate Yadvendra Singh Bundela filed a petition in the High Court Jabalpur to cancel the election. In which he filed a complaint against the then Collector Abhijeet Agarwal including the then Collector Abhijeet Agarwal for prematurely closing the polling process at some polling booths, BJP candidate Rakesh Giri for giving wrong information in the form. After the hearing going on for the last 4 years, the High Court in Jabalpur on Tuesday rejected the petition of Congress candidate Yadvendra Singh Bundela. In this matter, former MLA Yadvendra Singh Bundela says that he will now take the matter to the Supreme Court.
