Shivpuri: The Congress is busy in its strategy regarding the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Digvijay Singh reached Shivpuri on Saturday. After meeting with the workers here, he chalked out a strategy for the upcoming assembly elections. Mandalam workers of Congress of the district and other workers and office bearers were present in this meeting. In this meeting, Digvijay Singh called for a meeting of Congress workers here to get involved in the assembly elections with complete preparations. He said that instead of talking about Gautam Adani and other issues including unemployment, the BJP is talking about Hindu Rashtra. The BJP is diverting its attention from all the issues regarding making the country a Hindu Rashtra. Commenting on the BJP leaders and Saint Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, he said that India is a democratic country and the concept of Hindu Rashtra cannot be realized here.

Digvijay Singh, while reacting to the demand of Saint Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham to create a Hindu Rashtra, said that even the people going into the story should ask whether India is a democratic country. The Indian Constitution is applicable here, so how can India be declared a Hindu nation? If BJP leaders and ministers also demand to create a Hindu Rashtra then they should resign, as they have taken oath on the Constitution of India.

Regarding liquor ban and unemployed, Digvijay Singh said that Uma Bharti is taking the initiative of liquor ban in Madhya Pradesh, while earlier there used to be 12,000 liquor shops in the state, which have now increased to more than 30,000. Not only this, the unemployed are being cheated in the name of jobs, fees of Rs 430 crore have been taken from them, while proper arrangements for the examinations have not been made. Exams have been canceled many times, in such a way BJP is playing pranks with the unemployed.
