BJP’s secret plan Chhindwara before MP elections, know why Kamalnath’s stronghold is a big issue

Chhindwara: The Bharatiya Janata Party is in power in Madhya Pradesh, but Chhindwara, the bastion of Congress state president Kamal Nath, still remains a challenge for it. Therefore, the party has now started trying to weaken Kamal Nath in Chhindwara itself. According to the strategy of the party, now Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to enthuse the workers of this area. In the last Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had won 28 out of 29 seats in the state, but Chhindwara is one parliamentary constituency where the BJP could not win. It constantly bothers the BJP that it has been continuously losing in Chhindwara except on one occasion since the 1980s.

The BJP knows that Chhindwara and its surrounding areas are tribal-dominated and the Congress has deep roots here. This is the reason that even in the last election, BJP could not win even one of the seven assembly seats in Chhindwara parliamentary constituency. The BJP had to be voted out of power in the 2018 assembly elections, but when the Congress split and the BJP returned to power, it put all its efforts into increasing its strength in the Chhindwara parliamentary constituency.
