Drinking decaffeinated coffee may help control cardiovascular disease, said a professor who reviewed the study. Compared to non-drinkers, drinking two to three cups of coffee per day may have the greatest risk of premature death. Ground coffee consumption reduced the risk of death by 27 percent, compared to 14 percent among decaffeinated coffee drinkers and 11 percent among instant coffee drinkers. If you drink two to three cups of coffee a day, the risk of heart disease and strokes is reduced by 20 percent, if you drink decaffeinated coffee, it is 6 percent, and if you drink instant coffee, it is found that the risk is reduced by 9%.
