If you want to do morning walk in winter morning, do it at 7 o’clock. Because at seven o’clock, the cold has subsided and the rays of the sun fall on the body in the morning. Which makes you feel fresh and not too cold. Elderly people should walk around 11:00 am in winter. Also, elderly people should walk on the terrace of the house or at home instead of going on the road or jogging track.  

Follow these tips
Avoid drinking cold water during morning walk. If you feel thirsty while walking, keep a warm water bottle with you. Drinking warm water improves digestion. People with BP, heart related diseases or joint pain problems should avoid morning walk in winter. While going for a morning walk, you should wear a sweater, muffler along with a hat that does not catch air in the ears. 

Take this care in winter 

In winter, if you have a cold or phlegm, take steam first. Inhaling steam moves hot air into the nose and mouth. It reduces cold or phlegm.  Take hot water in a pan for steaming. Add two drops of eucalyptus oil in it. After drinking this water twice a day, your cold will subside. Digestion slows down in winter, so it is important to exercise in winter.  Keep body hydrated continuously in winter. Drinking more water does not cause vata, pitta or kapha problems. Also in the morning you can drink a glass of hot water.
