Jallianwala Bagh: At this historical place, the massacre was carried out by the British, thinking about which people still tremble even today. General Dyer had gunned down hundreds of people here. A memorial has been made in the memory of those killed in the massacre.
Sabarmati Ashram: Mahatma Gandhi played a big role in getting India’s independence. Sabarmati Ashram was also considered as the center of independence or Swadeshi movements. Mahatma Gandhi started the Dandi Yatra from here in March 1930 and for this reason this place is considered a big historical place.
Jhansi Fort: The stories of Rani Laxmi Bai’s bravery are no less than an example for the people even today. She ruled Jhansi from the year 1857 to 1858 and she was martyred while giving a befitting reply to the British. This fort is also deeply related to freedom.
Red Fort: Today the Prime Minister of India hoists the tricolor from the ramparts of the Red Fort every 15 August. This historical monument is considered special for one reason and that is its relation to freedom. This fort was once the stronghold of freedom fighters.
