Raya Seema Otti Tunaka curry, cooked like this is sure to be a hit

Otti Tunakas are a must in any house in Rayalaseema. Otti Tunakas are stews made with chicken or mutton. Once these are done, you can cook the curry whenever you want. Vadialla can hide these in a box. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli and masala to the chicken or mutton and mix well. Then dry them in the sun. They make a clattering sound when dropped in a bowl. Then if you hide them, you can cook them all year round. Let’s learn how to cook this curry.

Ottitunakas – one cup
Onion – one >
Green chillies – three
Ginger garlic paste – two spoons
Chili – one spoon
Yellow – Quarter Spoon
Coriander – Half Bunch
Garam Masala – One Spoon
Tomato – one
Cloves – two
Cinnamon – small piece

Preparation as 
Add water in a bowl and heat it well. After the water gets very hot, soak the bare cloths in that water. After a while they become soft. Now put the kalai on the stove and add oil. When the oil heats up, add cloves and cinnamon and fry. Then add green chillies and onion and fry well. Add ginger garlic paste and mix it. Add tomato paste and mix well. Add turmeric, chilli and salt to the mixture and mix well. Now add the dry cloth soaked in water first and mix well. Add some water and cover and cook. At the end add garam masala powder and mix. Sprinkle coriander five minutes before serving. That’s it, Otti Tunaka curry is ready. Chicken or mutton as the base…whatever you choose is up to you.  It is also known as dry crumb curry. 

Otti tunaka curry is very good for health if eaten occasionally. Eating this curry will give you a taste. Eating raw chicken cooked curry will make your muscles nourished. It also increases appetite. They are very useful for bone strength. This curry is good for heart health. It contains good cholesterol. Curry cooked with chicken curry is tastier compared to curry with mutton. Chicken Orugala Curry is good even if eaten in excess. But if you eat a lot of mutton orugas, there is a possibility of cholesterol accumulation in the body.
