Some people call it Halwa, while others call it Kesari. Anyway, this is a very popular dish. It is made with a lot of ghee. In fact, if made with pineapple, its taste is amazing. Here’s how to do it. Try it once. This is very easy to do. It can also be reported as an offering to the gods. So instead of always putting regular saffron, adding pineapple saffron like this is amazing. Its smell is also mouth-watering. Kids love it.
Ingredients
Pineapple pieces – one and half cup
Saffron – pinch
Panchadar – four spoons
Ghee – four spoons
Dry grapes – quarter cup
Rava – one cup
Pineapple essence – one drop
Cashew nuts – bunch
Green cardamom – One
Water – as much as required
Preparation like
Put the cast iron on the stove. Make sure that the flame is medium. Pour a glass of water and cook it by adding pineapple pieces, pineapple essence, sugar and saffron. Keep it on medium flame and cook it for half an hour until the sugar dissolves completely. Mix the cooked pineapple well to make it soft. The whole mixture should be kept on a stove until it becomes a little lump rather than watery. Now take another pan and put it on the stove. Heat some oil in it. After the oil heats up, fry the cashews and keep aside. In the same pan add rava and cardamom powder and fry. Also add the roasted cashew nuts and fry them. Fry until the rava turns brown. Now add the previously mixed pineapple mixture to this rava mixture and mix well. Reduce the flame and mix this whole mixture well. After all the water evaporates and the halwa is made, sprinkle raisins on top. When the halwa is ready, it comes without sticking to the tin walls. It means that the stove can be installed. Now take this halwa in a bowl and garnish it with pineapple slices and serve. Its taste is overwhelming. If you eat it once, you will want to eat it again and again. Eating pineapple is also very good for health. So try pineapple halwa at least once a week.
