Paneer: Paneer can be made not only with milk but also with dal

Paneer made with milk is expensive. Those who think that paneer cannot be bought often, can make paneer with lentils at home. This paneer can be prepared with just two ingredients. This paneer is also rich in nutrients just like paneer made from milk. It gives the feeling of eating paneer made with milk. Low in calories and high in protein. You will not gain weight even if you eat this paneer.  Let’s see how to make it at home. 

Masoor dal is available in the market. It is a type of cowpea. It is slightly red in color. That is why it is called red kandipappu.  Take a cup of masoor dal and wash it well three or four times. 
1. Add this dal in warm water and soak it for 20 minutes.  
2. After 20 minutes add it to the mixer and make a smooth paste. 
3. Then put a pot on the stove and pour one and a half cups of water. 
4. After the water heats up a bit, add the ground flour in the mixer. 
5. It should be constantly mixed with a ladle. Cook it for seven to eight minutes.  
6. Mixing should be continued until the mixture becomes thick without lumps or lumps. 
7. If cooked on low flame, this mixture will thicken without turning. Then the stove should be built.
8. Now take a square glass container and pour this mixture in it. Cover it with a small cloth and cover it.
9. If left like that for six hours, harden paneer is made. 
10. After that, if the paneer is taken out of the glass container, it will come out in a square shape.  It can be cut into small cubes and cooked like paneer made with milk.  It can also be stored in the fridge.

 Red kandi is full of nutrients, so eating this paneer has many health benefits. Kids need protein a lot, adding this lentil paneer will give them plenty of protein. It also contains potassium, zinc, iron, vitamin C, A, B1, B2, folic acid and fiber. All these are necessary for our health. Eating this masoor dal twice a week has many benefits. Red lentils are digested faster than regular lentils. This means that the paneer made from it is also digestible. Moreover, this dal improves the functioning of the digestive system. Problems like gas, constipation and acidity will not occur. Pregnant women should eat dishes made with red lentils. It provides plenty of folic acid.
