Navratri Recipe : Tired of eating fasting khichdi? Then, try these 5 dishes made from sago this Navratri


Navratri Recipe : Navratri (Navratri 2022) starts from Pratipada Tithi of Ashwin month. Goddess is worshiped in this festival. Navratri festival is celebrated by playing Dandiya, Garba. Navratri festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. Some people fast for nine days during Navratri. If you are tired of eating khichdi, varai rice while fasting, you can try this tasty dish made from sago.  

Sabudani Kheer
Eating spicy food while fasting can cause acidity. So you can eat pudding made from Shabudana. Ingredients like sago, milk, sugar, saffron etc are required to make sago kheer. You can eat this dish which is prepared in a very simple way while fasting. Once the kheer is ready you can add dry fruits and cardamom powder to it. 

Sago Tikka 
Prepare tikki by mixing soaked sago with green chillies, red chillies, peanut coot etc and shallow fry this tikki on tawa. You can eat this tasty tikki with yogurt. 

Sabudana Vada 
Sabudana Vada is a favorite dish of many. Peanuts soaked in sago, groundnuts and chilies are mixed in this and prepared into small loaves and fried in hot oil. You can eat sabudana vada with curd or buttermilk.  

Sago plate

Prepare the mixture for the sago thalipeeth in the same way as we prepare the mixture for sago vada. Prepare thalipeeth of this mixture. Roast this thalipeeth on a griddle. The sago thalipeeth is tasty and also not much oil is used in its preparation so this thalipeeth is also healthy.

Sago Dosa 

First wash the sago. After that soak sago for 4 hours and soak bhagar for half an hour. Add sago, bhagar, curd and a little water in a mixer and grind the mixture finely. Add salt to this mixture. Prepare this dosa by putting this mixture on a pan.
