Navratri 2022 Colors : After Ganeshotsav is over now Shardhiya Navaratrotsav (Shardhiya Navaratrotsav) is in full swing. Shardhiy Navaratri is starting from 26th September. There is a nine-day long festival of the goddess. During these nine days nine forms of Goddess are worshipped. Nine colors have special significance in these nine days. In accordance with the nine forms of the goddess, the beloved color of the garment is offered to the goddess. These nine days have special significance of different colors. Know the nine colors and their special significance in this year’s Sharadiya Navratri festival.

Sailputri Devi will be worshiped on Monday, the first day of the Sharadiya Navratri festival i.e. 26th September 2022. White color is considered auspicious on Monday. White color is very dear to Goddess Shailputri. White is a symbol of purity and peace. Wearing white color increases self-confidence.

2. Navratri Second Tithi (Red)

Goddess Brahmacharini will be worshiped on Tuesday, September 27, the second day of Navratri festival. Red color is considered very auspicious on this day. Red is a symbol of courage, valor and love.

On the third day of Sharadiya Navratri festival i.e. 28th September, this day is dedicated to Chandraghanta Devi. An orange cloth will be offered to Chandraghanta Devi on Wednesday. Orange is a symbol of positive energy. 

Kushmanda Devi will be worshiped on September 29 on the fourth day of Navratri festival. Yellow color is considered auspicious on this day. Yellow is a symbol of good fortune, wealth and glory.

5. Navratri Panchami Tithi (Green)

The fifth day of Sharadiya Navratri festival is on 30th September. Skandamata will be worshiped on this day. Goddess Skandamate loves green color. Green color is a symbol of nature. Wearing green increases consciousness.

Goddess Katyani will be worshiped on October 1, the sixth day of Navratri festival. On this day, the goddess will be dressed in gray. Gray is a symbol of intelligence. 

7. Navratri Saptami Tithi (Blue)

Goddess Kalratri is worshiped on the seventh day of Saradiya Navratrautsava i.e. Saptami. Blue color is considered auspicious on the day of Saptami on 2nd October. Blue color of sky and water is a symbol of faith. 

Ashtami on the eighth day of Navratri festival is Monday 3rd October. Mahagauri will be worshiped on the day. Purple color is considered very auspicious on this day. Purple color symbolizes imagination and ownership. This day is the time of Kanya Puja.

Goddess Siddhidatri is worshiped on the ninth day of Sharadiya Navratrautsava i.e. Navami. Pink color is auspicious on the ninth day of October 7. Pink is a symbol of love and female power.
