Chicken Mughlai Handi Recipe: The festival of Navratri is over. Ingredients to make Mughlai Chicken Handi

  • 500 grams chicken
  • one cup curd
  • two to three chopped green chilies
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • Two small tomatoes chopped
  • One tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder halved
  • tsp hot Spice powder
  • Two medium onions chopped
  • Four to five soaked almonds
  • One teaspoon red chili powder
  • Half teaspoon coriander seeds
  • a teaspoon of sugar

Chicken Recipe

  • To make Mughlai Chicken Handi, first heat ghee in a large bottomed pan.
  • Add finely chopped onion and fry it.
  • Then add ginger garlic to the pan. Remove the rawness by adding a paste.
  • Now at this stage add chopped tomatoes, green chilies and fry till the tomatoes become soft.
  • After this add dry spices chili powder, turmeric powder. , add cumin powder, salt and half ground coriander
  • Saute all the spices well for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now add the chicken pieces and mix it with the spices .
  • After 5 minutes of marinating the chicken with spices, you will see that the chicken is slowly starting to release water.
  • At this stage, cover the chicken and cook on medium for 15 to 20 minutes. Cook on low heat.
  • When you feel that the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat.
  • Add curd, walnut paste, sugar, kasoori methi garam masala and it is good. Mix well.
  • Now let it cook for 10 minutes, after that garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Mughlai Chicken Handi is ready, you can serve this dish with rice or roti. can eat.
