Once the overnight cooked rice is left over. There are more chances of left over of cooked rice due to reasons such as going out or not being hungry at home. What we struggle with is food. Leftover rice – 1 cup

Wheat flour – 1 cup< /p>

Sugar –  1 tbsp

Baking powder – 1 tsp

Baking soda – 1/2 tsp

Salt – little

Milk – 1 cup

Egg – 1

Butter or oil – 2 tbsp

Vanilla essence – 1 tbsp < /p>


Take a large mixing bowl. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt to it and mix well. Now melt milk, egg and butter in it and mix well. You can add vanilla essence if you want. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have it available. Mix all the above ingredients well.. Add rice to it and mix well and keep the mixture aside for 5 minutes.

Now light the stove and put a non stick pan. Keep the flame on medium.. Apply oil or butter to it. Take the previously prepared mixture with a ladle and spread it like dosha. It should be spread like dibbarotte instead of thinly. After it cooks on one side, flip it and cook it till it turns golden brown. That’s it, hot pancakes are ready. The taste will also win your mind. These can be taken with syrups, fruits or honey. It is also very good for health.
