It is raining here and there in Telugu. The weather is getting colder. It is better not to eat certain types of vegetables when it is raining and the weather is cold. But many people do not know which vegetables not to eat and why not to eat them. Doctors also say to eat food according to the weather. Eating them like that can cause health problems.  

This is called ‘fool gobi’ is known as It is widely used in Indian cuisine. Mostly used in veg biryani. Curries, neems, gobi manchuria, gobi pakodi etc. are made with it in various dishes. But don’t eat it during monsoons. They are rich in chemical compounds called glucosinolates. They trigger allergies when the weather is cold. Worms are also abundant. Cauliflower is what increases their fertility. 

This vegetable is available to the poor at a very low cost. It is very good to eat. But it is better not to eat during rainy season. Because these also contain glucosinolates. They are converted into isothiocyanates when chewed. These may cause diarrhea,  vomiting, nausea and breathing problems in some people. So it is better not to eat this vegetable when it is dripping.  

Instead of these, it is better to consume more vegetables like gourds, cucumbers, okra, tomatoes and beans. These vegetables have high water content. So they help to clean the intestines and strengthen the immune system.
