Iodine is one of the essential nutrients for our body. Iodine is needed by our body as long as we survive from the stage of being a fetus in the mother’s womb. So care needs to be taken to prevent iodine deficiency.   Even if our body lacks selenium, zinc, copper, iron, vitamin A, iodine function in the body is damaged.

Iodine deficiency is also seen in children. That is why they should not be fed with too much salt. It is more dangerous. By feeding them iodine-rich foods, they get rid of the deficiency. Long-term iodine deficiency in the body slows down the brain growth of children. Also in women, lumps are formed in the breasts. They also cause pain. That’s why you should eat a balanced diet and ensure that you get iodine. Eating too much salt for iodine is not a good practice. Iodine is also found in other foods. Eating them can quickly overcome iodine deficiency.  Eat at least two servings of iodine-rich foods every day. Due to this, sufficient iodine is supplied to the body.
