Vitamin tablets contain water-soluble substances. B vitamin pills like Vitamin C, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3… are also water soluble vitamins. In order for the body to absorb vitamin B12 well, it should be taken immediately after eating. Those who are also taking the same vitamin C should give a gap of two hours after taking vitamin B12 and take the vitamin C pill. Otherwise, vitamin C may prevent the body from utilizing vitamin B12. All the rest are good to be taken immediately after eating.
Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K are also fat soluble vitamins. Together with the fat we consume through food, they are absorbed by the body. So it is better to take such vitamins immediately after eating fatty foods. That is not saying to eat meat. If these vitamins are taken immediately after eating almonds and cashew nuts, they will work effectively.
Vitamin A is an essential nutrient for us. But it is better to take it through food. But you have to be careful if you take the vitamin in tablet form. Especially pregnant women should not take large doses of vitamin A during the day. Doing so may cause defects in unborn children. Also, smokers and former quitters should not take high amounts of vitamin A. Taking it increases the risk of lung cancer.
Iron tablets are prescribed to most people by doctors. Iron tablets should be taken on an empty stomach for better absorption by the body. That is, if this iron is taken when there is nothing in the stomach, the body will absorb it. Also, it is better to take iron tablet with juices like sweet potato, orange and lemon which are full of vitamin C. Because the body absorbs both iron and vitamin C efficiently. But iron tablets should not be taken while eating calcium-rich foods. This is because calcium prevents the body from absorbing iron. It means that after taking iron tablet you should not drink milk for one hour. Also, iron tablets should not be taken for an hour after consuming milk or curd.
