Diabetic Breakfast: Here are some mouth-watering breakfast recipes for diabetics

Diabetes is a disease that is bothering everyone with age without work due to changing life style. If this comes, one should be very careful about health. Be particular about eating. There is no luck in eating the food you like. Avoid eating foods that increase blood sugar levels. Diabetics should be very careful about breakfast. The effect of food taken in the morning is on the body throughout the day. That’s why if diabetics eat what they eat, it will have a serious effect on their health. Fruits like apples, bananas, berries, grapes, oranges should be taken along with broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, greens. It should also not be taken in excess. If you find idli and dosha boring for breakfast, try these new ones. It not only tastes good in the mouth but also gives a lot of health benefits. Eating these not only provides the necessary proteins to the body but also keeps the blood sugar levels under control.

Sorghum bread

Take some sorghum flour in a bowl and mix it like chapati flour. Keep it aside for a while and let it soak. Put a pan on the stove and add a little oil and add paneer pieces, 4 tablespoons of fenugreek leaves, 2 green chillies cut into pieces, ½ Add a cup of tomato slices and fry well. Add enough salt to taste and fry it on low flame. Now after mixing the dough into small lumps and making it a little wide, put the mixture of this stuff in it and cover it with flour and rub it like a chapati. Toast the bread well on both sides on the roti tawa. That’s it, hot sorghum bread is ready.

Moong Dal Idli

Take one cup of moong dal and wash it well with water and soak it in water for about two hours. Then drain the water and grind the dal finely. In that dough ¼ Take a cup of curd and mix it well. Put a pan on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of oil and when it gets hot, add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon of chickpeas, 2 green chilies cut into pieces, add a little finely chopped ginger, some curry leaves, a little cashew nuts and fry well. Moong dal prepared in advance with this spice mixture  Add to the flour. Take an idli vessel and put it like an idli. This batter should be prepared immediately. Do not store it. Steam it for 15 minutes on medium flame. These idlis are very tasty when eaten with green chutney.

Vegetables, Oats Pan Cake

Any dishes made with oats are good for diabetic patients. Eating oats upma for breakfast can increase insulin levels throughout the day. Glucose in the blood is under control. Oats, carrot, spinach, coriander, green pepper, add 1 tablespoon, pour some water in it and mix the flour well. Put a pan on the stove and after it gets hot enough, put oil on it and take a ladle of flour and pour it like dibba bread. Fry until light brown on both sides. That’s how delicious hot oats pan cake is ready.

Quinoa Upma

Quinoa looks a little brown. Upma with them is very good for diabetic patients. Take 1/2 cup of quinoa and wash it well and keep it aside. Heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of gram flour, 1/2 teaspoon of moong dayal and fry it. After they are fried, add chopped ginger, green chilli pieces, a little asafoetida (optional). Then add onion and curry leaves and fry again for a while. Once they are cooked well, add chopped carrot, french beans, 1/3 cup of soaked peas and fry them well. Add quinoa to it, add a little water and add enough salt to taste. Keep it until it is well cooked. It should be turned with a spatula without digging in the middle. Stop the stove and serve after the mixture is very close.
