Take some sorghum flour in a bowl and mix it like chapati flour. Keep it aside for a while and let it soak. Put a pan on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of oil and when it gets hot, add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon of chickpeas, 2 green chilies cut into pieces, add a little finely chopped ginger, some curry leaves, a little cashew nuts and fry well. Moong dal prepared in advance with this spice mixture Add to the flour. Take an idli vessel and put it like an idli. This batter should be prepared immediately. Do not store it. Steam it for 15 minutes on medium flame. These idlis are very tasty when eaten with green chutney.
Vegetables, Oats Pan Cake
Any dishes made with oats are good for diabetic patients. Eating oats upma for breakfast can increase insulin levels throughout the day. Glucose in the blood is under control. Oats, carrot, spinach, coriander, green pepper, add 1 tablespoon, pour some water in it and mix the flour well. Put a pan on the stove and after it gets hot enough, put oil on it and take a ladle of flour and pour it like dibba bread. Fry until light brown on both sides. That’s how delicious hot oats pan cake is ready.
Quinoa looks a little brown. Upma with them is very good for diabetic patients. Take 1/2 cup of quinoa and wash it well and keep it aside. Heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of gram flour, 1/2 teaspoon of moong dayal and fry it. After they are fried, add chopped ginger, green chilli pieces, a little asafoetida (optional). Then add onion and curry leaves and fry again for a while. Once they are cooked well, add chopped carrot, french beans, 1/3 cup of soaked peas and fry them well. Add quinoa to it, add a little water and add enough salt to taste. Keep it until it is well cooked. It should be turned with a spatula without digging in the middle. Stop the stove and serve after the mixture is very close.
