Brain Tumor: New device to detect brain tumor with urine test – creation of scientists

Brain tumor cases are increasing in our country. Brain tumor was once seen only in people over 50 years of age. But now regardless of age this problem is hanging from the age of 15 years. There are many causes of brain tumor. It is genetic which means it can be inherited. Also, doctors say that there are chances of getting brain tumor due to unhealthy food intake, bad habits like smoking and drinking, cell phone radiation.  However, it is clear that this is the case when certain types of symptoms appear after brain tumor. But now Japanese scientists have developed a new device. This allows a urine test to detect a brain tumor even if there are no symptoms. This can prevent huge losses. Early use of medication and treatment can save a person’s life from any harm.

There are four stages in a brain tumor. Symptoms like headache, vomiting and dizziness are seen in the first stage. If the same reaches the second stage, the same symptoms become severe. And in the third stage, the tumor in the brain spreads to other major organs. This means that the lungs can infect the vertebrae. And in the fourth stage, the cells of the tumor merge into the blood and spread throughout the body. Japanese scientists have proved that brain tumor symptoms can be detected before the first stage.

A patient with a brain tumor has membrane protein in their urine. A team of Japanese researchers has developed a new device to detect that protein. The new device was developed by a team of professors from Japan’s Nagoya University in collaboration with the University of Tokyo. Two types of extracellular vesicle memory proteins called CD31 and cd63 are present in the urine of brain tumor patients. The presence of extracellular vesicles in the urine of a person suffering from a brain tumor is the main sign that the brain tumor is present. That’s why researchers say that if the trace of these in the urine is found, it can be confirmed that the patient has a brain tumor.
