Children’s hands, feet, and mouth are mainly blisters. Some children also get these blisters all over their body. Doctors say it is somewhat similar to chicken pox but not chicken pox. 

It is seen that this disease is increasing mainly in children aged 2 to 5 years. Doctors advise that children should be isolated from other children at first after getting this disease. It takes seven to ten days for children to recover from this disease. Therefore, the doctor has also said that children should not be sent to school or public places during this period.  

What are the symptoms of Hand Foot Mouth or HFMD

In this disease, Hand Foot Mouth or HFMD is called hand foot and mouth disease. This viral infection occurs in children up to 5 years of age. It causes sores in children’s mouths as well as in different parts of the body. Due to this, children have difficulty in eating and drinking. This disease is caused by coxsackie virus. Children also get mild fever in this. Meanwhile, children are constantly irritated. Also children suffer from body pain.

Pediatrician Shailesh Kabra says that the number of such children is increasing in the hospital at present. There is no vaccine or medicine available for this yet. But it is important to increase the immunity of children during this period. Moreover, it is necessary to keep the children away from other children in isolation for some time. Kabra also said that children should be given water continuously during this period and also consult a doctor immediately.

Keep other children away from infected children.
This is a disease spread by coughing, sneezing and saliva.
Do not share food with an infected child
Emphasis on boosting children’s immunity.
Your child’s hands Wash frequently with soap.
Give children water constantly during this time.
See your doctor immediately.
